It goes without saying that 2020 has been a global disaster for live music but that hasn’t stopped Bangkok’s melodic punk giants Stay Awake from keeping busy.
The band has been hard at work writing new material throughout the year and will be hitting the studio in a few days to get to work on their much-anticipated sophomore EP. With a more refined and aggressive sound, they plan to release the EP, which they have called ‘Portraits’ in January 2021. To whet your appetite, here is a brand new track titled ‘Inroads’ which was recorded during their Global Bandemic online event in August, filmed at one of Bangkok’s finest live venues, Speakerbox.
