What An Insane EP – Check Out Hardcore Act Bleach On This 4 Song BANGER [Indonesia]

Indonesian hardcore band, Bleach have dropped a HARD new EP entitled ‘Chrome’. Yo, the 4 songs on all sonic elements they include on this will take you from Drug Church vibes to Sunami all within this short little journey. This truly is one of the best eras of hardcore all over the planet – suddenly bands are feeling they can do whatever the fuck they want in their music. And we’re here for it.

The band states, “We’re trying to bring some fresh elements to our tracks by infusing them with alternative rock and any ‘strange’ sound (especially in hardcore) such as jazz. This EP displays fully what our upcoming full-length will sound like. We have tracks like ‘Chrome’ which is an exploration of sounds and includes a variety of musical references. On the track ‘Scales’, which is probably the most chill song fully has an alt-rock feel. We invited Andika Surya of Bandung band Collapse to be part of the writing process as both the lyricist and singer.”

In terms of lyrical content, Michael Sippan (vocalist) stated, “‘Chrome’ is about being stuck when contemplating the future, ‘cause there’s no way we can find the answer at the time. Sometimes, it brings you to be pessimistic, but (at the same time) you always find a reason to be optimistic. The man behind the lyrics of “Scales” is Andika. Overall, it’s about something easier, like a romantic story. Someone who just broke up with all the mixed feelings in between.”

Chrome will be pressed on cassette tape and released on February 23 via Disaster Records and Oblivion Records.
