With over 22 million cases registered so far and currently averaging 400,000+ new cases per day, India is in the middle of an explosive COVID-19 outbreak that has stretched the country’s healthcare system to its limits.
New-Delhi-based online radio community boxout.fm joins the relief efforts with a 48-hour fundraiser stream on the 15th & 16th of May featuring a line-up of artists & DJs from over 20 countries, all contributing with exclusive sets & performances to help raise funds for the current COVID-19 crisis in India. The fundraiser page on GiveIndia.org goes live on 11th May and the drive concludes on 19th May.
All proceeds from the audio-only broadcast will be donated to GiveIndia, a not-for-profit organization actively working across India to help COVID-19 patients, their families, and healthcare workers at this time of extreme crisis.
This is a collaborative effort with promoters and allies from within India as well as boxout.fm’s global partners. India urgently needs the support of the global music community, and this is boxout.fm’s way of reaching out to friends and well-wishers around the world.
So far, 76 international Artists from all over the world have confirmed their participation for the stream. The diverse lineup features DJs and producers such as HAAi, DJ Koco, Habibi Funk, Coldcut, Nina Las Vegas, Daedalus, Jacques Greene, Dan Tompkins Of Tesseract and many more.
