Indonesian hardcore punk band Narcholocos have released a brand new single and announced their new guitarist.
Narcholocos has previously released one full-length La Manifestacion on Otakotor Records, Rizkan Records and Samstrong Records which was later re-released on 7″ by Vanilla Thunder Records (which also released Sigmun, Seringai etc). Continued with the split release with a Japanese band, Anal Geisha, which was released by Maximum Alternative, Otakotor Records and Samstrong Records.
With their new guitarist in the fold the band went back to write material for a new full length Ansiety Y Depresion. The new full length will be 10 Los Crudos-Spanish-themed/inspired tracks recorded live at Melody Studio. This time the themes revolve around social problems faced by young people today ranging from depression, the influence of social media, to alcohol. The track off the album that they’re debuting tonight, La Movimiento Comenzó Con Una Cafetería, contains footage from a promo tour to Bandung, Sukabumi, and Tangerang last year.
Johor Bahru (Malaysia) based label 321 Go Distro is interested in releasing the album on cassette format. For the Indonesian market, Otakotor Records & Samstrong Records and Tarung Records will be co-releasing the cassette.
