Death metal band Demonic Resurrection announce lineup change release new video [India].
Demonic Resurrection has announced a line-up change which sees the departure of their lead guitarist Nishith Hegde, who has been promptly replaced by Vignesh V.
Nishith had this to say about it, “No matter how much we want things to be the same, life is all about change. Sometimes it’s for the better and sometimes it’s not. I have had a glorious 5 years with Demonic Resurrection and it will always remain very close to me, the journey I was a part of. But priorities change and you have to do what you have to do. I wish my friends in DR all the very best for all their future endeavours and hope they reach greater heights. As for me, my journey with them ends here!”
Sahil comments, “It’s been a pleasure having Nishith be a part of this band and we’re definitely going to miss having him around. His contribution has been invaluable and you can hear his musical genius on the recordings of Dashavatar. They are part of the history of DR now.
Line-up changes seem to be the only constant in DR but it’s something I’ve come to terms with, it’s always hard but everyone has to follow their own path and DR is a stepping stone in that journey. We will carry on as always and for now Vignesh V. (Albatross) is going to be filling in as lead guitarist on all upcoming India tours. We are looking and auditioning lead guitar players but we still haven’t found a full time replacement for Ashwin (who quit last year) so technically we’re still looking for a full time bass player as well. Vignesh has filled in for Nishith last year for a couple of shows so we’re quite comfortable with this line-up for now. Onward and upward.”
