CHRONICLES‘ debut full-length album, “Spirits of the Mortified,” is a garage-burning pyre of occult aggression enacted in real-time abyss-spiraling death metal. It puts to death the mortifications of lingering sinful impulses that arise from within and resists temptations that surface from outside of the believer.

The album represents the idea of liberation into the nether realm as the souls of the relentless kind embark on an eternal journey. The strugglers in a struggling world uphold the power of death and darkness, which takes the form of abysmal entities that feed upon the lust and greed of the disguised virtue. The rising sun hides the most profound abyss; every single sunlight ray warms a cryptic stone in which the throne of skulls shines brighter than the chaste morning.
