One of our favorite bands from our hometown – Hong Kong – is darkwave band Maenad & The Ravers. A band that isn’t the least bit interested in what trends are popping off not just locally, but worldwide. All they care about is creating art that moves them and in turn moves those who are looking for bands who push the envelope, who look at creating art that is different from everyone else, who purposely choose not to do what others are already doing. By doing this, bands like Maenad & The Ravers always grab our attention. In 2021, with how many billions of bands exist on this planet, you know how hard it is to do this???
