[UPDATE BELOW: 3:22pm April 16, 2016]
Shit got a little ugly at a hardcore show in Singapore last night. According to the guys in State of Pain apparently a friend of theres was mistaken for someone else and was targeted by a group of unknown thugs in the pit while they were playing. Their friend was beaten up and stabbed.
This is serious shit.
Their buddy that got stabbed’s name is Amin and we in UniteAsia.org (and I’m sure from hardcore scenes all over the world) want to wish him a speedy recovery.
It’s important that whatever our petty little differences may be, that we are out there protecting our own.
Also, I’m sure no one wants this random incident to taint the entire Singapore hardcore scene. Singapore will always be a great place to hang out, live and play shows in. Continue to support Singapore hardcore.
Just wanna take the time to wish our friend, Amin, a speedy recovery. Keep knives out of hardcore, we don’t need those anywhere near shows.

Further update from Jai of Reconstrux Bookings who booked this show:
“What happened last night at the show:
Some gang randomly beat up 2 guys outside the venue while everyone else was mostly inside during IOC’s set. One of the victims got stabbed in the butt. The gang ran away right after. Cops and ambulance showed up shortly. Part of the incident was caught on the venue’s CCTV. Police are investigating.”
