CHECK OUT: Shanghai Hardcore Band NO MORE HARM Drop EP/Announce Own Label

Check out brand new hardcore band and label outta Shanghai, China.

Shanghai hardcore band NO MORE HARM have just released their debut EP and were kind enough to send us this full update.

When we formed in 2021, initially, we intended to play a style similar to bands like Expire and Bent Life. However, with changes in the band’s lineup, the current members all lean towards 2000s melodic hardcore, edge metal, and modern straight edge bands.

So far, no other band in China has embraced this particular sound. The band has also sent demos to overseas record labels in hopes of releasing their music internationally, but most attempts have gone unanswered. That’s why, as the vocalist of NoMoreHarm, I’ve decided to launch my own hardcore record label, NOW HIGH RECORDS, to release our music independently, while also helping other Chinese hardcore bands get their music on overseas streaming platforms.

The name NowHigh Records comes from a series of hardcore shows we’ve put on in Shanghai, China, all under the name “NowHigh” — so it’s a natural extension of that.
