“Following their 2022 LP ‘Don’t Test the Pest’, UK Thrashers Pest Control are back with a 12” EP, ‘Year of the Pest’! It has indeed been a whirlwind year, or two, for the Yorkshire powerhouse crew with extensive tours across the UK and Europe with the likes of Obituary, Scowl, High Vis, Foreseen, as well as headline tours of their own, and appearances at Outbreak Fest, Download Fest, Graspop and more. With this new record expect more skillfully crafted sonic journeys through 80s classic thrash metal, NWOBHM’s raw power, all combined with the energy and bite of NYHC. The swarm has now returned, it’s the year of the pest!”
