Man…like we always say – we’re the biggest stans of Asian bands…especially if they’re as good as Singaporean metal punk band Doldrey who we’ve been writing about since their debut EP back in 2018 (read about that HERE). If you haven’t heard them yet…stop right now and click the track below:
Doldrey has been actively killing it since their inception and having just dropped their widely acclaimed second full-length ‘Celestial Destruction’ on Iron Lung Records, they’ve been trekking all over Asia spreading their gospel to the masses.
Today the band has announced their first-ever European tour to take place this summer courtesy of Stay True Agency. The band stated, “After our latest LP was released last August, we knew we had to start pushing Doldrey’s music to the next level and bring it to places we’ve not played before which, for a start, is Europe. I’ve been in talks with Tomas from Stay True since October 2022 and he has been the best to work with. In fact, he’s really into our music which makes it much easier to work because you know as a booker that he isn’t going to half-ass the tour just for the sake of it! Hahaha”.
The routing of the tour sees the band starting off in the UK:
18/7 London, UK @ Newcrossinn
19/7 Bristol, UK @ Exchange
20/7 Liverpool, UK @ Outpost
21/7 Newcastle, UK @ Luberfiend
22/7 Birmingham, UK @ Centrala
23/7 Ghent, BEL @ Chinastraat
24/7 Antwerp, BEL @ AMC
25/7 Bonn, GER @ TBA
26/7 Hannover, GER @ Bei Chez Heinz
27/7 Berlin, GER @ Autobahn
28/7 Leipzig, GER @ ZxRx
29/7 Rokycany, CZ @ flufffest
