Indie rock band Closure release new music video [Indonesia].
A year has already passed since the public of Malang was introduced with Closure through the single Slow Drive. Since October 2016 at their debut at Renjana # 2 event, a potential started to twinkle gain a glance from the music scene of Malang. Then gig offers started to come, mainly from the university students, and on every occasion, even when the audience is new to their performance, the fast beat and the accessible tones of closure could make the audience unconsciously dance or at least headbanging to the rhythm of Slow Drive and Warehouse.
Slow Drive itself has been released since January 2016, when they were forging themselves in the depths of rehearsal and recording studio. This single was also able to attract the attention of an independent label based in Jakarta named O ‘Pamela. A special boutique label releasing bands that bear indie spirits of UK 80s and early 90s in Indonesia, paralleling the name of this label which is taken from one of The Wake’s ( a Glasgow based indie band) single in 1985.
Now as a celebration of a year of Closure’s career and as a signal that there will be full LP soon coming, Slow Drive will be released in the form of video clip. Slow Drive video clip contains the video collage from their mini tour trip in Jakarta which significantly took the hearts of Jakarta’s indie-pop scenesters. This video collage also features individuals outside the band who contributed to the Closure existence in the national music scene today.
In addition also, a month ago Closure also has uploaded official audio clip on youtube. This is a preventative measure for illegal uploads by unauthorized youtube channels and possibly even more of being monetized without Closure’s consent. So before the release of full album from Closure, we would advise you to enjoy both of these videos … Cheers!
