Shenzhen crust-punk band Disanxian have announced their debut album earlier today. The record is called 極餓非道 and is being released by Beijing based label TIC/Dying Art Productions. Disanxian’s vocalist, Terry, added: “Jin of Hexfire and Haemonlacria of Skullcrusher/S.C.O.D helped us record and mix the record. But in general we did this all lo-fi, low-cost and totally DIY.” In regards to the general concept of their debut album, “The record is based on the famine “大飢荒” of China during the 1950’s using the punchline of Takeshi Kitano’s famous film Outrage (極惡非道).”
