Malaysian hardcore-metal heavyweights Restraint have finally released their new album Rise Above Hate on a whole host of digital platforms. This shit sounds even more fucking badass when you hear the whole record from start to finish instead of just a song here and there. Yes, we know you millennials don’t listen to music from start to finish and hop around from artist to artist, song to song…but this album is one of those that sounds so much more epic when you hear it from the opening sample and then when the record busts into the first track Never Regret.

The band keeps their trademark Hatebreed meets Slayer vibe on all 8 tracks – but have raised the level of their metal influence tenfold. Peep those insane guitar solos spread across these tracks…
