80s Thrash Metal Your Jam? Check Out BLOODSTONES Latest LP [Singapore]

Singapore thrash metal act BLOODSTONE are back with a brand new album entitled ‘Electrocution’.

The band is widely regarded as one of the acts responsible for the revival of thrash metal in Singapore, and have been active since 2004. Following on the heels of their debut album ‘F.T.W’ (2016), their sophomore album, ‘Electrocution’ (2023) bears all the stylings of classic ’80s thrash metal, while heralding a critique of contemporary issues besieging the island-state of Singapore, from which they hail. Ferocious, fast, and uncompromising, Bloodstone’s latest effort stands as an exact reminder of why thrash metal remains relevant in a world of trendy, chew-and-spit-out music.
