Vocalist of Malaysian symphonic death metal act Daarchlea has released a statement announcing that he will be leaving the band:
“Greetings and peace be upon you all. I am here to announce that i will no longer be playing with Daarchlea.
I would like to start off by saying thank you to all the supporters, friends and great people who have been with and believed in me throughout my journey (especially pre-LNS years). Also, i would like to apologize to all of you if i ever make you feel disappointed by taking this decision.
It was not easy for me, but in order for me to grow. I must. I hope you all can understand and accept my decision. It has been truly a wonderful and humbling experience. I am beyond grateful for all the opportunities that is given and i cherished every bit of it.
We have grown so much as individuals and as a band but our understandings are no longer mutual. I am proud to be part of the band and also being involved in making of SUNS. Seeing so many people enjoy the album, sharing it, hyped on it, mentioning about it, come out to our shows, meant the world to me.
I wished them good luck and success in their journey without me.
Whats my next move?
I will be creating some new projects and shows. It will take some time but it will absolutely worth the wait. It wont be long till i see all the awesome supporters and friends again on stage. I look forward making new things for all of you.
Lastly, thank you all again. Without you, my voice will not be heard. See you soon.”
The band themselves have also released a statement:
“After a long hiatus, it is with regret to come up with this news.
As some of you may know, our vocalist Putra Al-Matin will no longer be continuing as a member of Daarchlea. You can check his statement on our previous post.
As a unit, we respect his decision to part ways to a new path separated from our own. It’s been a great journey together, and for that we would like to thank him for his great effort & dedication throughout the year. We appreciate it wholeheartedly and wish him nothing but the best & success in his new endeavors.
We would also like to take this opportunity, to state our greatest gratitude to all of those who have been loyal in supporting us throughout the year. It is beyond words. We have been through a lot since then and will always learn to improve ourselves along the journey together.
Definitely, there will be changes with our upcoming lineup. Details will come to light as time progress and we will release a statement regarding this in the near future.
This departure will bring us a new period of growth and maturity.
It will also mark a beginning of a new chapter in our journey.
And the chapter begins now,
SUNS II”
