Typecast have dropped a new single entitled Mulat Na Mata which is the band’s first ever Tagalog song. The band has also recently announced that they’ll be heading to the US for a tour along with fellow Philippines act Valley of Chrome. Dates haven’t been announced yet but they both uploaded this dope ass flyer:
Vocalist, Steve, was kind enough to send in this explanation of the lyrical content:
“Mulat na Mata means “eyes wide open” in English. The song is basically about how almost everybody has had experience with individuals who want to milk their hard-earned success for cheap opportunities. There are many people who want to ride the waves of someone else’s work for their own personal gain. The song is about that realization and putting a stop to that kind of toxic abuse and behavior.”
The band has hinted that full tour listing could be out within the next couple of weeks!
