Singaporean Beatdown Band ANGULIMALA Drop New EP | Track by Track Breakdown Out Now

Check out our friends in Singaporean beatdown band ANGULIMALA on their brand new EP entitled ‘CBV’. The band were kind enough to give us the full lowdown on the music and the release.

“This EP dives deep into the complex emotional landscape of loss and the consequences of choosing vengeance over healing. The EP traces a journey through grief, revenge, and regret, set against the backdrop of ancient Asia. The record is being released by both Futura Records Asia (Bandung, Indonesia) and Getmoney (Malaysia).”

With the actual tracks on the EP, the band stated:

SPIT ON YOUR NAME
This track captures the fury of someone whose faith in the world is shattered, consumed by the need for revenge when the ones they loved are taken from them.

DECAY WITHIN feat. Keep It Real from Indonesia
This track delves into the mindset of a person who has nothing to lose and is willing to face any consequence to settle the score.

COLD BLOODED VENGEANCE
This is the decisive moment where the protagonist takes violent action against the aggressor.

PATH OF SELF INFLICTION feat. Whispers from Thailand
This reflects the internal conflict of a person who has avenged their loss, but soon realizes that revenge can never bring back what was taken.

WHAT’S OF ME AND MISERY
This speaks to the regret of a person forever haunted by their actions, knowing that they cannot undo the past.
