Vent Box out of Singapore is carrying on with their Black Metal Day show taking place this Sunday, March 8th featuring Czech black metal act Inferno. When we pushed Vent Box whether or not the band was still coming they responded “Yes, they said they don’t give a fuck. They also said being in Asia is probably safer than being in Europe right now”. If you’ve kept yourself up to date with the massive increase in numbers of infected in Europe, you’d probably have to agree. Read more here.
But not only is Vent Box carrying on with the show, they’ve come up with a fucking BADASS way to get you to the show. Check out their announcement:
“Amidst the cancellation of multiple concerts and gigs, if you are feeling fed up with life and feel like banging your head, do not fret.
Canceled show ticket holders, come and vent your anger at Black Metal Day 2020. Flash your canceled tickets (whichever show happening in March) at the door in whatever format as long as they can be seen clearly and we’ll give you $5 off our door tickets on 8th of March! Fuck the virus!!!”
WHAT?! That’s awesome…so in the month of March if you were planning on attending ANY shows and have purchased a ticket, bring that ticket this Sunday – show it at the door and immediately get $5 bucks off!
All info below and in the flyer after the jump…opening acts are insane.
