Singapore/Malaysian Grindcore Band CODE ERROR Drop SICK Debut Single From New LP

A few days straight of FIRE releases by Asian bands (look up BLEACH and WORLD DOMINATION from yesterday’s posts), we have Singapore/Malaysian grindcore band CODE ERROR on their debut single ‘Paradigms’ off their upcoming full length.

The band was formed back in 2017 featuring ex-members of WORMROT and current members of TOOLS OF THE TRADE. In that time they’ve released a 5 song EP and have played a handful of shows. But today, in 2025, the band is back with a full lineup and are about to unleash their debut album ‘Incanate’. The lineup still consists of the core two members, Vijesh on drums and Tiong on guitars, but they’ve also enlisted Mark Fields [SIEGE, OBLIVIONATION] on vocals.

The upcoming album will consist of 12 songs with a total running time of 12 minutes. This first taste is exactly what you’d expect from well-versed members of the grindcore world – full on blast beats, throat shredding vocals, but even culminates with a sick Converge-esque guitar riff at the end. Brilliantly done…
