Sick New Hardcore Band KARMAX Unleash EP And Give Us a Track by Track Breakdown

Indonesian hardcore band KARMAX ain’t fucking around on their brand new EP ‘Sambartaka’. The band’s Cro-Mags influence are all over their music and even down to the band’s name. “We’re called “Karmax” because it sounds similar to “Cro Mags”. But besides Cromags, we also love Van Halen, Carcass, Bad Brains, and Discharge.” We feel like they’re missing a REALLY big influence that we can hear in the music, to which the band quickly added, “Oh, and of course, Breakdown”. There it is.

They were kind enough to send in a track by track breakdown of the rippers on this release:

Reason to Fight
The song is about accepting your hate as a best friends the one who dragging you down but the one who being fuel to push you being a better version of you. In the end of the day its just you and your little hate being a friends

Karmax Paid in Full
Karmax at title is like telling we as a crew will not let you fight alone.

It’s about person who addicted to drugs and pills, once you trapped in circle you start being stupid, insecure and forgetting friendship and lost the meaning of love and kindness.

Dead City
It’s about people who don’t contribute well in their city and always complain and do nothing about it and don’t wanna get involved about development and how the scene growth to be good. The youth just give up and move to other city and living the other dream. And the city they left is full old people who just want to get drunk and party and talk about the old glory days that people don really even care.

Ignorance is Bliss
Ignorance is bliss is song influence by rzl dzl very epic music video.

The Beautiful Ones
The beautiful ones is song about person that i admire a lot like riley from power trip. He show love and he really give back to community. Bands like have heart too they give everything to shelter and many foundation.

They’re hoping to release this on cassette and 7″‘s later this year.
