Shows Are Back On in China – Metalcore Band An Empty City Release Live Video [China]

Slowly but surely life is getting back to some sort of “normal”, whatever that will mean from now on…

Shenzhen just hosted a show with three killer Chinese hardcore-related bands including An Empty City, The Will On Kill, and our favorites – melodic hardcore band What A Beautiful Day.

An Empty City released this killer live video of them ripping through a couple songs at a packed venue in Shenzhen called Hou Livehouse.

Guitarist of An Empty City, Matt, sent the following info in, “While we’ve been stuck at home because of COVID-19, we have finished up almost 90% of our upcoming 2nd full-length album which will be released in the fall. In case people are worried about how many people are attending this show, live shows are back but with crowd control. Hou Livehouse in Shenzhen has begun hosting a series of shows for local bands. We had an amazing night with two other amazing bands The Will On Kill (Guangzhou), What A Beautiful Day (Shenzhen). Nice venue, the crowd was crazy. Due to COVID-19, there are no foreign bands playing in China, which has turned out to be a great opportunity for local bands. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BANDS AND LOCAL VENUES so they can make it through this bad winter.”
