Shoegaze/Noise Pop Act T f r Release Final Single From EP [Philippines]

T f r is a three-piece band from Metro Manila that draws influence from Shoegaze and Noise pop. Ahead of their EP’s release, the band released another song entitled “Lullabies”. Although still being mostly inspired by their shoegaze contemporaries, the song pays homage to post-punk bands The Wannadies, The Horrors, and The Cure with its ambient, avant-garde-like instrumentation, it’s soothing, yet powerful vocals, and its melancholic lyrics about longing for someone’s love and affection. As with the rest of the tracks on the EP, the song features synths done by Jed Tabago (Eiffel, Lara, and South Ohana).

In collaboration with DIY record label Calm Lake Records, the band’s EP entitled “Post-First” is set to be released on July 24, 2020, on all major streaming platforms. The EP will also be available for purchase physically on CD.
