Maybe we’re old, but “compilations” continue to be one of our favorite ways to hear new bands or at least start to familiarize ourselves with a scene’s quality of bands. Yes, playlists are basically the new compilations HOWEVER, playlists can run for hours with thousands of bands and seriously, after like 5 or 6 bands we’re just not paying attention. So when a label purposefully and thoughtfully curate a collection of bands that they’re actually going to release on physical formats, that means those are bands that the labels are ready to throw money down on to put out. Meaning, that the bands are going to be sick and worth your time.
Enter Malaysian label RVDA who just dropped an awesome new all Malaysian hardcore compilation featuring 10 submitting two tracks each. The full list of bands contributing music is the following:
Eat Shit And Die
On Your Side
The comp is out on cassette format now and you can pick it up by hitting up the label directly.
