Hong Kong rock metal act Ni Liu are a force to be reckoned with in the world of Hong Kong rock on the heavier end of the spectrum. The band, especially their vocalist, incorporates so many elements of music from across so many genres to masterfully put together well-crafted music that would shake arenas throughout the city. The band’s ability especially to utilize Cantonese only in their vocal delivery is crazy incredible…those melodic passages of their music will always be where the band shines. Simply put – it’s insane how catchy and moving those choruses are when vocalist, Kit, just lets loose. You can hear his skills especially showcased on 回望 – a song completely based on piano, strings and vocals.
The band rules for good reason.
