Formed in summer 2019, band members of Ikebana met for the first time in Shibuya, Tokyo, and just clicked. Composed of members from Japan, the United States, the Philippines, and Russia, the band decided the name Ikebana that same night.
Ikebana, which translates to flower arrangement in Japanese, fits the band perfectly as, like different flowers to make a whole arrangement, the members come from different backgrounds and musical style to form something that represents unity in diversity.
