Oi Punk Band Two Finger Salute Return With New Lineup and Announce First Show [Hong Kong]

Straight up – good dudes are just good dudes.

Oi punk band Two Finger Salute have almost singlehandedly been flying the flag for punk rock in Hong Kong for the past few years. Sure, there may be a handful of other punk bands in Hong Kong, but these dudes have been flying that flag loud and proud. Their bassist/vocalist Simon leaving Hong Kong had the band down and out for a while, but suddenly they’ve reappeared with original vocalist, Phil, back in tow and new bassist Bob as well.

“In these strange times, it’s always good to see a familiar face and if you’re a longtime fan or friend, you’ll recognize one of the faces in this picture as our original singer and punk prodigy Phil. If you’re in the know and you follow the small but passionate scene here in HK, you’ll also recognize the bass-playing bandit Bob Barrell of Last Guv’Nors.

Welcome back to shouting, yelling, and generally having a moan about what we hate and cheers and shoutouts to the stuff we love. Welcome to the new Two Finger Salute.

Cheers to Simon, who helped finger all of our friends and family for so many years but now lives in sunny old England. It’ll never be the same without him but TFS goes on”

The band has announced their first show back for September 10th.
