Nu-Metalcore Band Praise Release New Single Addressing Suicide [Japan]

Japanese nu-metalcore band Praise have released a new single entitled ‘Marumouke’. According to the vocalist, “I wrote this song to encourage people to be positive. One social problem in Japan is suicide. The current suicide rate is very high among the age of teenagers to 30 years of age. This song is about suicide prevention. The lyrics of the song include the phrase “Life is a gift in itself”. This was used and popularized by a Japanese comedian. This is a positive sentiment. I hope my lyrics can be beneficial to someone.”
