Noise and Distorted Waves of Terror – Divine Engine Division – Up Now [Hong Kong]

Tracy Lord and Unite Asia‘s mercenary scribe Arthur Urquiola has kicked off 2019 in style, rolling out ‘Divine Engine Division’ – 1 hour and 47 minutes of crushing analogue noise and distorted waves of screeching terror.

Less a cohesive single work and more a compendium of sessions and studies to cap off year one of noise experiments, ‘Divine Engine Division’ includes early demos (‘Assouls 1&2’), early documentation of layering distorted beats (‘The Shut-In’, ‘Hell Razors’) and a newer session that ventures into melody and psychedelia (‘Rocket #1’), hinting at things to come.
