New Philippines Based Hardcore Label Down and Out Records Announce Debut Release

Down and Out Records out of the Philippines is a new entity started by a good friend of this website Jedd Lefthander. He is someone whose opinion and thoughts we respect greatly because of how knowledgable, caring, rational, and respectful he is. If we aren’t sure about something, we quickly look to Jedd for thoughts and guidance.

So when a good dude like that who has supported us for years starts his own thing…WE BACK IT 100%.

His brand new label Down And Out Records’ main mission is to help document the bands and artists from the Bacolod City area of the Philippines. His label will be handling the physical releases of his community’s bands. He states that one of the catalysts was his late bandmate JC Skinhead. JC Skinhead always had a vision of launching something like a label to assist the area’s bands, and Jedd hopes that by bringing Down And Out Records to life hopefully, it brings some joy to JC.

Down and Out Records debut release is a 3-way split CD sampler entitled New Breed Volume 1 features 3 new bands from their scene: Zauro, xNicodemusx, and Lohika. And guess what? The release is out TODAY!!!!

They’ve already got a total of 7 MORE releases slated for the rest of 2020!!! SICK.
