New Hong Kong post rock band V.A.K. launch demo teaser

Hong Kong in recent years has certainly become an underground hotbed of post-rock goodness…the ever growing number of post-rock bands from Hong Kong who create incredibly creative music seems to be growing exponentially every year.

Here’s another band that features two members from a well-loved underground Hong Kong band called Chockma. This new band is called V.A.K. and they’ve started a Facebook page and launched with a preview of their upcoming demo…from the sounds you hear this band certainly is carrying on with the idea of mixing Chinese instrumentation with rock. You can see from the photo above the Chinese instrument that they will be incorporating.
