Last week, Malaysian metal band Naratu announced the departure of their long time vocalist Ijam. Today they announced their replacement vocalist:
“Today we would like to welcome our latest addition – our official new vocalist – Azam Othman – who will continue the legacy of Naratu. Some of you might have known but for those who don’t, Azam has been helping us whenever Ijam wasn’t able to make it. Azam has an easy going person who is very cheerful. We are sure you will love the way he sings, screams and especially his stage performance.
Welcome aboard and all the best to Azam on this journey!”
For those of us outside of the Malaysian scene, you may be scratching your heads going – “Wait – he looks familiar?” Yes…he is the guitarist of Malaysian hardcore band Thy Regiment!
Welcome Azam, good luck Ijam…and keep it up Naratu!
And today – Trophy Knives have released their amazing new socially charged 5 song EP . Yo that opener on this EP?! What?!?! Perfect way to unleash a band’s brand...
