Thailand-based metalcore outfit ANNALYNN share new single, Circle The Flame, and announce EP ‘Failure Will Find Me’, out May 24 via Greyscale Records. Pre-orders live now!
Circle The Flame is mixed and mastered by Lance Prenc (Alpha Wolf, Polaris, Void of Vision) and is about expectations and the meaning of life. “We’re willing to lose everything searching for the meaning of life, despite disappointments. It can see us lose our soul,” says the band.”We are all lost on the path between the light and the end. We still walk into the light for hope, even if it’s a cycle of emptiness and desperation when everything might already be burnt down.”
ANNALYNN will release their first extended release in years with ‘Failure Will Find Me’. The EP features four tracks, including last years Disappear, new single Circle The Flame and two more unreleased tracks. ‘Failure Will Find Me’ explores heavy emotions, feeling low, caving to the darkness and seeking the meaning of it all. The new music sees ANNALYNN travel in a new direction with new vocal dynamics set against crushingly heavy moments. The 4-track EP will be out via Greyscale Records, who the band signed to in March 2023, becoming the second international band to join the label after Paledusk (JPN), now also joined by Casey (UK) and PROMPTS (JPN/KR).
Forming in Bangkok in 2003, ANNALYNN cut their teeth playing to dedicated crowds across their continent, including an Asian tour alongside metalcore favourites While She Sleeps, followed shortly by a well-earned support slot for metal juggernauts Bring Me The Horizon. ANNALYNN visited Australia for the first time last August on the Das Ende Australian Tour supporting Void Of Vision with Like Moths To Flames and Varials. ANNALYNN played nine shows across the nation, debuting their live show to hungry new Australian fans.
