The unstoppable hardcore metal band Naratu outta Malaysia are back with a new vocalist and a brand new track entitled ‘Mata Pendusta’.
“The song talks about the crisis in Malaysia in terms of corruption, abuse of power, oppression, and violence by some parties until the outbreak of economic collapse, suffering of the people, and violence inflicted by the powers on individuals. Even worse, it has left a mental impact of depression on some individuals, resulting in an increase of suicide cases.
The idea in the lyrics of ‘Mata Pendusta’ is an expression of injustice itself and giving a little injection of spirit to the listeners to rise again from the constraints of life.”
Besides the lyrical content, this particular track is also the first taste of the band’s new vocalist Kenix. Kenix also performs as the bassist of Malaysian hardcore band Thy Regiment.
The track is actually part of an upcoming compilation album entitled ‘Kawtim Compilation Against Brutality & Misconduct Vol.1’ which will be streaming on all platforms 31st August 2021.
