Metal Band SOARA Release Epic AF Music Video For New Single [India]

Indian metal band SOARA have released a pretty epic music video for a new single ‘Bishad’, a video inspired by Satyajit Ray’s classic Bengali 1980 film “Hirak Rajar Deshe”.

The movie is based on a king known for his tyrannical rule over his people. Two magicians, aware of his wicked ways, are invited to perform for the king. The magicians use their skill to influence change within the king and bring peace upon their treasured land

Watch the video, directed by Ratnajit Roy with the Siliguri-based crew from Darjeeling Talkies, as they re-create this amazing story through the lens of a death-metal/shoegaze track with Devin Townsend-esque vocals.
