Formed in the depths of Singapore’s underground metal scene in 2001, EXUBERANCE quickly rose as a formidable force in the realm of blackened riffs and symphonic synths. Their debut demo, “Darkness Arise,” marked the beginning of a journey into the shadows, earning them a dedicated fan base.
After a prolific run with countless gigs in the early 2000s, Exuberance reluctantly went into hiatus in 2010, leaving a void in the hearts of their fans. Each band member went on their separate ways playing in different bands such as The Ironfist, Con-Formed, Kersani, Sang Matahari Tidur Mati, Adhära & other various projects. Notably, guitarist Amyr went on to pursue his solo project: Amyr Abadawn. The years passed, but the embers of their artistry never truly extinguished.
In a surprising turn of events, Exuberance has emerged from the shadows in 2022, resurrecting its dark melodies and haunting lyrics with a newfound intensity. The band’s latest offering, “Doomsday Calls To My Embrace” (EP), serves as a testament to their enduring spirit and evolution during the hiatus.
Exuberance remains a force to be reckoned with, weaving sonic landscapes that transcend the boundaries of conventional dark metal. With their symphonic melody and darkened themes that echo through the ages, Exuberance stands ready to reclaim their throne in the world of darkness and metal.
