Mabuhay Gardens Restaurant, located in San Francisco, was a Filipino dining establishment that served as a vibrant platform for showcasing Filipino artists. During the dynamic decades of the 1970s and 1980s, Mabuhay Gardens Restaurant transformed into a pivotal hub for the burgeoning Bay Area Punk and New Wave music scenes, featuring renowned bands such as DEVO, The Dead Kennedys, The Germs, The Avengers, and the Go-Go’s.

MABUHAY GARDENS RECORDS (USA) launches Filipino record label to help bridge the Asian punk, hardcore and metal movement, helping bands/artists gain exposure in the US, placing Asia at the forefront of giving back to the west the influences of music sub-culture that has been incubating in the east!
We invite Filipinos/Asians to showcase their music on our website, creating traction for their ability to come stateside to perform their material in front of live US audiences.
