You Down With Judiciary and Guilt Trip? Check Out RUSTED’s Debut Album [Malaysia]

RUSTED is a Malaysian hardcore band that takes inspiration from Judiciary, Guilt Trip, Knocked Loose, and Metallica. They have just released their first album, ‘ Never-Ending Disgust’, which is now available on all streaming platforms.

Musically, the songs on ‘Never-Ending Disgust’ are influenced by metal-styled riffs while maintaining the elements of hardcore music in composition. The intention is to get the balance of the fast, high-energy tempo and the heavy, slow-paced song sections. Lyrically, most of the songs in the album talk about the intense feelings of anger, disgust, and hatred towards the hypocritical world. Some songs are about fighting depression and addiction.

In terms of the KILLER artwork for the record:

“It was made by @syarif_shukri a good friend of ours. The concept was to illustrate an old torture method to represent hatred and anger with red as the theme. It turned out so amazing. He is a great illustrator!”
