Japanese Funeral Doom Band Begräbnis Announce Debut Album

Japanese extreme metal label Weird Truth will release Japanese Funeral Doom band Begräbnis‘s 1st album “IZANAENA”.

Funeral doom from Sendai/Japan who started their activities in 2011. Weird Truth released 2 split EPs in 2014 (with Australian experimental doom band Estrangement), and 2016 (with Danish ambient SOL). In 2017, they participated in the compilation album “Eastern Ghost Story Vol.1” released by Psychedelic Lotus Order/Goatwa Rex.

In 2020, finally, they will unleash their 1st full-length album into this doomed world! Minimalistic rhythm with subtle industrial music influences, a combination of majestic heavy riffs and sorrowful melodies, and ominous vocals! As their band name Begräbnis – which means “funeral” – represents, they deliver solemn requiem for the doomed ones!
