One of Hong Kong’s biggest music festivals called Clockenflap has announced this year’s dates: November 27-29. Though they have never had a history of bringing in “heavy” acts to the festival, we have been told by countless who have attended that it is still a good time for friends and family. I have never been because in the 7 years so far there has never been a lineup that has enticed me. But maybe this year I will attend with my family because the setting of this festival is absolutely beautiful – right at the harbor of Hong Kong overlooking the majestic Hong Kong skyline. Rumor has it that this will be the last time that Clockenflap will be able to hold the event in this space. Bummer…
Here’s their own write up about this year’s events:
“It’s official, the countdown to the biggest ever Clockenflap starts now! So mark your diaries with indelible, festive ink for 27 – 29 Nov @ West Kowloon, and ready yourselves for the very best Clockenflap yet.
Stay tuned for more news here very soon
”
Hopefully this year’s events includes some bands/artists that would be exciting for the city’s heavy music fans. More information soon: https://www.facebook.com/clockenflap
