HM-2 Meets Shoegaze? Sick! ENDGATE Release New Single [Indonesia]

We guess it was only a matter of time that this would happen…check out HM-2 inspired band ENDGATE on their brand new single that includes some post-metal/shoegaze elements in their very forward thinking music.

“This single is the second sign that our sound are influenced by post metal, Swedish death metal, hardcore/punk, Atmospheric, Sludge, Drone and Neocrust. It aims to mix different references from each member’s idea into the character of Endgate itself. In the making of this material, we used a personal angle to interpret the lives of some people who are never blessed and carry the curse of sufferers who inevitably become burdens and wounds that must be carried until they are met with nothingness. When creating the composition and arrangement of “Beyond Chaos, into The Void”, we absorbed many elements as inspiration, such as Entombed, Amenra, Isis, Fall of Efrafa, Neurosis, Alcest and others. When compared to our first single “Circle of Despair”, the most fundamental difference could perhaps be called the taste of the instrument, where “Circle of Despair” leans more towards Swedish Death Metal and Hardcore/punk compared to “Beyond Chaos, into The Void” which more of a post metal approach, even though the character of the sound is the same. It still maintains the rough chainsaw character of HM2 combined with atmospheric/drone/ambient nuanced leads.”
