Hardcore Metal Act RAID Release Music Video For ‘Shattered Beliefs’ [India]

Taking inspiration from old-school hardcore favorites such as Madball and Agnostic Front, Hyderabad, India-based band hardcore metal band RAID tear through their latest single ‘Shattered Beliefs’. The single is taken from their upcoming third studio album ‘Defiance’ set to be released later this month (Mar 25) on Rottweiler Records. Their latest single is accompanied by a music video shot by filmmaker/photographer Sai Ratan.

About the song, frontman Rueban Issac states: “It’s the heaviest song on the album. It is based lyrically on the idiom: ‘A wolf in sheep’s clothing’. The song refers in particular to this saying in the context of the decay of religion. For centuries, religion has always been interwoven with every political agenda. Nowadays people see religion as a business, they destroy every form of faith between man and God.”

R.A.I.D, who came together in 2016 and currently comprises Issac on vocals, guitarist Abishek Allapanda, bassist Sam Jaba and drummer Bobbin Jaydev, have released two albums so far. The Strong Survive was out in 2018, followed by their sophomore record Imperium in 2019.
