Guitarist of Progressive Metal band Festacorn releases solo debut EP – Jump Alaska [India]

Guitarist/Composer Angad Bhatia of Festacorn (Progressive Metal) and CandyFloss (Electro-Synthpop) has released a debut EP ‘Jump Alaska’ under the moniker Medddler.

“Clocking a little over 20 minutes, the 5 track EP Jump Alaska is a meditative journey about being in one place, yet letting your mind wander. The EP loudly proclaims themes of tranquility, escapism, and equanimity. The textural guitar drones and tasteful drum grooves layered behind the conscious loop-based songwriting allow Medddler to explore different avenues of his mind and writing, which are distinct from all his other works. Jump Alaska, written as one long song, observes a calm approach at romanticizing instability and leaps of faith. The opening track ‘Pause’ sonically traps the listener with infectious movements in stereo space, while slowly liberating them as they go along the journey. The EP closer ‘Parachute Prairie’ is Medddler’s perception of a skydive that leads to green grasslands.”
