Emotive Punk Band EIFFEL Release New Track ‘Duelist’ [Philippines]

Southern Metro Manila-based emotive punk band EIFFEL has finally ended their indefinite hiatus and is back with a new single and lineup. The latest single, entitled “Duelist”, unabashedly tackles the themes of betrayal, disillusionment, and internal conflict, channeling raw emotion through intertwining guitars and unapologetic lyrics that relentlessly confront the collapse of trust, and the misfortunes brought on by self-righteousness. “Duelist” marks a departure from the band’s 90’s Midwest emo roots, embracing a style of songwriting akin to the likes of post-hardcore luminaries The Fall of Troy, Dance Gavin Dance, and Hail the Sun.
