Easycore Band Chugs On Deck Release Track About Mental Health [Malaysia]

Malaysian easycore band Chugs On Deck have released a music video for the track Abolisi. The music video is a collaboration between both SAC3 and Chugs On Deck. “Abolisi” is about self empowerment. Abolisi, or Abolish, is abolishing something that is holding you back.

“I believe that our mental state and health is important. To me, your mind is your home. That is why we created Abolisi, which is to spread awareness about Mental Health.” explained Jordan.

Calvin added, “There are times we forget about what is more important to our life and we tend to forget that we need to be happy in what we do and what we want. Be humble and be kind to one another is the most important thing in the world and is the main message of the track.”

Sabah Animation & Creative Content Centre or SAC3 is an incubator that emphasizes on building and training human capital for the creative ecosystem in Sabah which was non-existence. Founded in 2009, currently SAC3 is recognised as the only Talent Incubator in Malaysia. Under the umbrella of SAC3 is SAC3 Academy; which focuses on skill based education looking into talent development for B40 youths who are passionate in pursuing their professional career in the creative field.
