Check out brand new Singaporean beatdown band SICARIO47 on their debut demo. The band was kind enough to give us a ton of info about themselves including where the members all hail from:
“Our bassist has always been a dedicated gig-goer who dreamed of playing in a hardcore band. Having played in KILL ON SIGHT, I had some experience to offer, and helping a close friend chase his dream sounded like the perfect (and most fun) way to spend my weekends.
Our drummer and I already had strong chemistry from our days in RESIST, a hardcore punk band we played in together. When you’ve survived countless sweaty jam sessions and sketchy venues together, you know you’ve got a solid foundation.
As for our vocalist, who comes from an shoegaze band called feelslikeyou that’s a funny story. Our original singer had to step down due to other commitments. One day, while scrolling through Instagram, I stumbled on a video of a guy absolutely destroying his shop (inmyhead.sg) with some serious spin kicks and moshing. He had the raw energy and stage presence we knew Sicario47 needed. I hit him up immediately, and the rest, as they say, is history.
At the end of the day, Sicario47 isn’t just a band it’s a bunch of friends who love hardcore, chaos, and giving every show 110%.”
And on the demo, they drop some facts about the lyrical content:
“Our songs are fueled by anger, resilience, and self-empowerment. Each track is a reaction against negativity — whether it’s fake people, oppressive systems, or the personal demons we all fight.
• “OUT4BLOOD” is about standing your ground with zero mercy. It’s a battle anthem for anyone ready to fight back against anyone trying to bring them down.
• “DEFINE ME” is about staying true to yourself, refusing to let others control or label you. It’s a call to reject judgment and live by your own rules.
• “NOT THE SAME” draws a hard line between us and the toxic people who spread hate. It’s about refusing to be dragged down by negativity and showing you’re different because you choose strength over weakness.”
Go peep the band on their upcoming tour with KEEP IT REAL. “Huge thanks to hard2m0sh, firstblood productions, and getmoney records for giving us the opportunity not just to debut our band but to kick things off with a debut tour.”
