CHECK OUT: Montreal Hardcore Band JUST US Drop New Single ‘State of Mind’ [Canada]

JUST US, a Montreal hardcore band built upon friendship that have spanned decades. Members previously played in UNIFORM JUSTICE in the early 00s.

Fronted by Asian vocalist Andy Chico Mak, infamously known for his videos documenting the Montreal hardcore scene since the mid-90s. Musically curated by Dave Bayreuther, mastermind riff slayer. The back bone of the band is Keven Carriere on bass, and Marc Lacroix on drums. Members also split time in bands THE COEX, VNGNCE, and previously in HUMAN BREED and A PERFECT MURDER.

Musical influences span a variety of genres, from early Black Flag, to thrash Metallica riffs, fused with modern hardcore sounds like The Hope Conspiracy. Lyrically the flow contains fast paced rhymes, with themes based on personal struggles.
