Woah…was so not expecting to be pummelled in the face as hard as this – and this was just 19 seconds!

Our dude, illustrator/graphic designer/all round stand up dude, Ralph (who goes by the IG handle: https://www.instagram.com/witnessxrawpower/ ) has just started up a brand new band called GIBRALTAR where he’s handling vocal duties. When discussing this, his first response was, “Recording this was wild! My first time on vocals!” Before you hit play, check out some of his insane art below:

Now to the band…Gibraltar is composed of members from Clean Slate, Value Lasts, Veils, Badmouth, Sandy Good, and Shirley Steinberg, all peeps who have done more than their fair share of time in the Philippines hardcore community. The band itself is straight up a barrage of chaotic aggression ala a heavier version of Jane Doe-era Converge or Pulling Teeth based on the first track ‘Dolor’ they just released. “The song is written in Tagalog,” states Ralph, “And is a statement song surrounding the weight of the country and how it has always been.”

The track will feature on the band’s upcoming 7-song promo release out on Still Ill Records [Philippines] and Get Up And Go Records later this month.
