Black Metal Band Elcrost Drop First New Track of 2021 [Vietnam]

The second single “Calendula”, taken from the upcoming split between Vietnamese black metal act Elcrost and Vixenta is out today.

“Calendula, as with our other song from this split, is a continuation of the stylistic foundation from the last EP, Foregone Fables. Calendula is among some of our most straightforward and catchy songs, it packs a full punch of melodic ethereal section and dramatic heavy riffing. The song tells a lustful encounter between Pan, the half-goat deity, and a wood nymph, with the lyrical style heavily influenced by Symbolism poet Arthur Rimbaud.”

Split Vixenta/Elcrost will be released on 03.09.2021, with physical copies coming sometime after through Elcrost’s own black metal label, House Of Ygra.
