Metalcore Band HAVOC Release Second Single [Philippines]

Philippines-based metalcore quintet, HAVOC, has just released their second single, “IGNITE,” a blistering track that dives deep into personal struggle, resilience, and the will to rise again.

Formed in the third quarter of 2023 in Tayabas, Quezon, Havoc brings together members from local acts End Street, EMLN, and Maybe. Drawing from influences rooted in hardcore, punk, and metal, the band crafts a sound that is both crushing and cathartic.

In less than two years since their formation, Havoc PH has released two hard-hitting singles and played extensively across Southern Luzon and Metro Manila with their collective, Beyond the Noise. Despite being a relatively new band, they’ve already shared the stage with some of the local underground scene veterans and performed at shows hosted by Far South Resistance, Hardcore Hope Philippines, Finite Fam and more.

“‘IGNITE’ was born out of a period of deep internal struggle—feeling disconnected from who we were and desperate to break free from the cycles that kept us stuck,” the band shares.

“The lyrics came from a raw place, where survival meant dragging ourselves through every burden and failure, yet still choosing to rise again. This track is our war cry for anyone who’s ever felt like a prisoner in their own skin but refused to stay broken.”
